So many times, we are told that we shouldn’t drive to Heathrow airport. The commonly held belief is that the airport is simply too busy to accommodate a lot of people driving there. The extra traffic would cause a gridlock and mean that more people are worried about missing their flight; obviously not the best thing in the world to do! However, this couldn’t be further from the truth and the fact of the matter is that Heathrow boasts one of the most comprehensive services in terms of car parking that means that no one will have to go without. There are many hundreds of spaces in the car park which means that you will always be able to get a space and the road network that links the country up to Heathrow is of such a quality that there is no chance that you will experience any difficulty in arriving there on time.
The problem is overcoming the belief that we have in the stereotypes because it is these that stop us from driving to the airport. Of course it may seem much easier to get the train because you don’t have to worry about petrol or other things like that but there is a tendency to ignore the extra hassle in getting to and from the airport that this causes. By far, it is much more relaxing to drive as the car is always there for you when you need it. You would be crazy not to park at Heathrow because of hearsay!
